A storage warning can refer to two different places. Check the exact message before removing anything.
Your computer is running low on space
Drive needs free space on your computer to download and work with files, even when you stream them. More Google storage does not add space to your computer.
Send 2Fifteen Tech a screenshot showing the drive named in the warning. We can help identify what can safely be removed or kept online.
Important: Deleting a file inside a synced Drive folder can delete it from Drive for everyone with access. Do not use deletion to remove only a local copy.
Your Google Workspace storage is full
- Open your Drive storage page with your work account.
- Review the storage breakdown and largest files.
- Identify old copies or other items your organization no longer needs. Confirm retention requirements before deleting business records.
- Contact 2Fifteen Tech if you need more space or are unsure what to remove.
Files in Trash still use storage. Emptying Trash permanently deletes them; review its contents first. Storage totals may take time to update after cleanup.
Work accounts: Ask us to review your Workspace storage. A personal Google One subscription is not the way to increase your organization's allowance.
